As we’ve brought on new faces, seeing the excitement that it brings our team to be able to follow their passions, fine tune and grow their skill sets, and deliver innovative and trusted solutions to clients in a way that is more meaningful than they experienced in their previous roles. This is a core value we founded our firm on, and to see our employees now embody means more than I can put into words. To me, seeing our team members follow their passions means more than just putting them on projects that suit their interest, it is being fair to our people, making sure their contributions are meaningful not just to the firm, but to them personally. To make them feel like they’re part of a bigger picture.
This, along with the autonomy to understand what our clients are passionate about, has led to more meaningful relationships for our people on their projects. Understanding that a statement of work is only everyone’s best guess at what it will take to make the project successful, and giving our teams the ability to go above and beyond without stressing over change orders, utilization metrics, or project profitability, has led to greater success and more meaningful experiences for everyone involved.
We’ve also deepened relationships with our key partners. Taking time to better understand what it takes to have a successful audit, implement a key security tool, and provide forensics and incident response help has led to a better ecosystem for our clients, learning opportunities for our people, and it has given our leadership team a better understanding of how to help our clients’ goals and passions align with our partners.
Our service providers have been exceptional throughout this year of growth. We’ve had many friends of the firm and personal friends help in ways I couldn’t be more thankful for, and their passion for helping RISCPoint grow in their area of expertise has been something I cannot express enough thanks for. Because of our partners, we’ve been able to provide benefits to our team that outperform the benefits I received at every organization I worked at prior to starting RISCPoint, and that is something I am very proud of. We want to provide the best service, from the best people in the industry, and that means we have to take care of them, and that is exactly what our partners help us do, even when it takes some creativity given our size.
Where I find my passion is truly split between seeing our team grow and how meaningful each client engagement is for me. The validation we’ve received through our clients’ feedback and the trust that they instill in us with some of their most critical assets, whether it be a complex regulatory or compliance need, or the build out of a security program, it is hard for me to ever put into words what your success means to me, and, even more, what your trust means to me. In 2021, I have seen incredible growth and success in our client base and have enjoyed the friendships we’ve been able to build. For more, those will last a lifetime.
As we continue to grow this ecosystem in 2022, I am excited to see our team, partners, vendor network, and clients continue to succeed in following their passions. I am also proud that our firm will continue to exhibit our core values by providing the best culture for top performing professionals and the best service possible, tailored to meet each individual client’s needs.
